May 12, 2008 10:07 p.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - It might not just be Jennie Garth who is returning to her Alma Matter, Tori Spelling is also reportedly reprising her role in the new spin-off of their hit 90s teen drama "Beverly Hills, 90210." A source confirms to usmagazine.com that Spelling has been asked to co-star in the new and younger version. The source says, "She will be a recurring character." Spelling, 34, played Donna Martin in the series that was created and produced by her late dad Aaron. The actress had shown her enthusiasm upon hearing the new spin-off in April. She told the magazine, "I'm excited about it. In some way, every show that followed 90210 was a remake of 90210. For the fans' sake, I am really happy for them." It was recently confirmed that Garth will reprise her role as Kelly Taylor, Donna's friend and stepsister-in-law, in the yet untitled show.
