Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Docu-filmmaker Michael Moore has revealed he plans to work on a sequel to the award-winning 2004 documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11."

He is currently inking a deal with Paramount Vantage and Overture Films to co-finance and distribute the political film.

Moore refuses to divulge information about the new movie, but he says that it won't focus on President George W. Bush anymore, instead, it will look at the country's status in the post-9/11 world.

Slated for a spring 2009 release, the yet untitled film will be distributed by Overture domestically, while Paramount Vantage will distribute it internationally.

"Fahrenheit 9/11" grossed nearly $120 million in the U.S. box office, and raked in over $220 million worldwide.
