May 15, 2008 11:50 p.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer St. Louis, MO (CNS) - Multi-award winning songstress Fergie has signed with Brown Shoe to create a new line of footwear that will appeal to fashionistas. The footwear company are collaborating with the Black Eyed Peas singer to capture her glam style in a debut collection for spring 2009. Retailers would be able to take an early look at her designs this June 2008 Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) shoe show. Fergie says, "I have always loved fashion because it's a great way to express your mood. And I'm definitely a shoe lover. The right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit, and even change how a woman feels about herself." "A woman can wear confidence on her feet with a high stiletto, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat." Plans to launch Fergie's footwear collection include a website and personal appearances.
