Duluth, GA (AHN) -- Charles Howell III fired a 5-under 67 on Saturday to take a one-shot lead over Kenny Perry at the AT&T Classic, but he's 0-for-3 in his career when leading heading into the final round. The Augusta (GA) native with two career victories to his name, Howell stands at 13-under 203 after 54 holes at TPC Sugarloaf. Perry shot a 69 to fall one shot off the pace while David Toms (69), Ryan Palmer (70) and second-round leader Jonathan Byrd (73) are two shots back at 11-under. Ryuji Imada, who lost in a playoff to Zach Johnson a year ago, is tied for sixth after a 66 on Saturday and is three shots behind along with Heath Slocum (69). Omar Uresti shot a tournament-best 65 and is tied for ninth -- five shots out of the lead. He joins Brett Quigley (68), Steve Elkington (68), Craig Kanada (69) and Camilo Villegas at 8-under.

Imada and Justin Bolli (68) are both University of Georgia standouts. Both are still seeking their first PGA Tour victories. Bolli is four shots out of the lead.

Thunderstorms are expected in Georiga on Sunday and instead of the normal afternoon twosomes among the leaders, players will tee off in threesomes, starting on both the first and 10th holes.

Howell, Perry and Toms will tee off on No. 1 at 10:15 a.m.

Said Howell, "It will be different. From what I understand, it's going to be quite windy. The golf course is really tough in the wind. There's a lot of risk-reward out here. A lot of it."

Perry looks to have rebounded from a final-round 81 last week at The Players Championship where he also was one shot behind after 54 holes at TPC Sawgrass.

Howell missed the cut last week at The Players.
