Bangkok, Thailand (AHN) - The Myanmar embassy in Bangkok, Thailand's capital city, caught fire Monday, damaging its second floor and consular offices during morning rush hour, officials say.

The visa section was temporarily closed, disappointing some aid workers.

The blaze engulfed the second floor of the building on Sathorn Road, located in the business district of Bangkok, capital city.

The fire was reportedly under control in about one hour. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still unknown.

Firefighters suspected faulty wiring was the probable cause of the fire.
