Ed Sutherland - AHN Editor New York, NY (AHN) - Verizon Communications announced Tuesday it will offer the online movie service Starz Play from Starz Entertainment for subscribers to the FiOS broadband television network. The new service will cost $5.95 per month, giving FiOS users access to more than 1,000 movies, Spider-Man 3, Pirates of the Caribbean and Ratatouille. Broadband television service Vongo also sells the service for $10 per month. FiOS subscribers signing up for Starz Play can also view Starz TV. In addition to the Starz Play deal, Verizon also licensed all Starz movie channels.
