Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Cameron Mathison, star of "All My Children" and former dancing contestant on "Dancing With the Stars," will host this year's Daytime Emmy Awards with "The View's" Sherri Shepherd. The two will host the 35th annual show from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on June 20. The Daytime Emmys will air on ABC. Neither Mathison nor Shepherd has ever hosted the show, or won an award. Mathison was nominated for outstanding supporting actor in 2002 and 2004. Mathison plays playboy Ryan Lavery on "All My Children" and also hosts SOAPnet's competitive reality series "I Wanna Be a Soap Star." During the fifth season of "Dancing With the Stars," he came in fifth with professional dancing partner Edyta Sliwinska. Shepherd has co-hosted "The View" since 2007. She has also appeared in TV shows such as "30 Rock," "Less Than Perfect" and "The Jamie Foxx Show." Shepherd and her "View" co-hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar are among the nominee for best talk show host at this year's ceremony. According to the Associated Press, they've lost the category ten times. While "The View" itself has been honored, Ellen DeGeneres' show has dominated the best talk show category in recent years.
