New York, N.Y.(AHN) - Detroit Piston's center Rasheed Wallace has been assessed a 25,000 dollar fine by the NBA on Thursday after using profanity and lambasting the officiating following last night's game.

Wallace, known for being outspoken, went on a profanity-laced tirade after the playoff game Wednesday specifically targeting referees Mike Callahan and Kenny Mauer. Wallace earned his sixth technical foul of the postseason on Wednesday's l06-102 loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. A seventh technical in the postseason would automatically result in a one-game suspension

"The cats are flopping all over the floor and they're calling that," Wallace, who was complaining on the rampant flopping being overlooked, told FOXSports.com. "That ain't basketball out there. It's all entertainment. You all should know that."

The Pistons are trailing 3-2 in their best of seven series with the Boston Celtics in Eastern Conference Finals.
