Rascal Flatts' Joe Don Rooney Becomes Father

Nashville, TN (CNS) - The country group Rascal Flatts has a new member. The group's singer-guitarist Joe Don Rooney and his wife, Tiffany Fallon, have welcomed a son into the world.

The baby, Jagger Donovan Rooney, was born in Nashville on Saturday at 3:50 p.m. The couple's first child weighed in at 6.45 lbs., and was 20 inches long.

"We are absolutely blown away by this little miracle gift that God has given to us," Rooney and Fallon said in a statement. "We can't wait to see what the future has in store for baby Jagger and our new family!"

Rooney, 32, and Fallon, 34, got married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2006, and first announced that the were expecting in April.
