June 4, 2008 7:30 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "Just Married" star Brittany Murphy wasn't fired by Mickey Mouse. Disney is denying reports that they had axed the actress from the voice role of "Tinkerbell." Gossip blogger Perez Hilton had posted an article on his website under the heading "Fired!!!!" claiming that industry insiders comment more on her "erratic behavior and crazy husband than her career (or lack of one)." The story quickly circulated prompting a Disney rep to deny the malicious report. The rep tells OK! magazine, "When John Lasseter (animator and CEO of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios) came on board, the schedule changed, and the new schedule didn't work for her." They hired the 30-year-old actress in 2006 to be the new voice of the little fairy. She is being replaced by actress Mae Whitman last month.
