John Vincent Cardenas - AHN Staff Writer Baghdad, Iraq (AHN) - The head of Saddam Hussein's tribe has been killed in a car explosion, Iraq police say. Sheik Ali al-Nida, head of the Bu Nasir tribe has been killed when his car exploded as he was traveling back to Awja after coming from the town of Tikrit. The Bu Nasir tribe leader's driver was also killed in the accident as a bodyguard of his suffered minor injuries in the explosion Tuesday morning. Officials say that a bomb has been attached to the car that killed al-Nida and his driver on their way home to Awja. Bu-Nasir tribe is a large Sunni arab clan which includes the family of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
