Country Singer Sara Evans Marries For The Second Time

Franklin, TN (CNS) - Country music singer Sara Evans has walked down the aisle for the second time. She married former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker in an outdoor ceremony Saturday evening.

The 37-year-old bride wore an ivory silk taffeta Vera Wang wedding gown while the groom wore a Dolce and Gabbana suit. The black and white themed event was attended by more than 130 guests.

Evan's 8-year-old son Avery escorted his mother down the aisle and he also served as an attendant together with his two sisters and Barker's four children.

This is the singer's second marriage. The first was to politician Craig Schelske that ended in 2007 after 14 years of union.
