June 16, 2008 7:40 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer London, England (CNS) - Supermodel Naomi Campbell has settled a discrimination lawsuit her former maid had filed against her. Slovakian housekeeper Ivana Lovas claimed that Campbell abused her when she threatened to quit and criticized her English in the four months she was under her employment. At a preliminary hearing, the tribunal was told there were two occasions of aggressive, abusive and criminal behavior that was seen on the catwalk beauty. And when Lovas threatened to quit her job, Campbell allegedly screamed: "You can't afford to leave me. You're married and you've got a kid. I'll sue you if you do." Lovas' attorneys said that Campbell had racially and sexually discriminated her. She eventually walked out last year in October and claimed she was denied of her salary payment and annual leave. Campbell, 38, decided to settle the matter privately before the case went to the court. She was believed to have shelled out thousands of pounds to pay the maid off. If this story seems familiar, it is because Campbell also settled a lawsuit against another former employee last year. 21-year-old Amanda Brack accused the model of verbally and physically abusing her during the five months she worked for her in 2005.
