June 16, 2008 2:37 p.m. EST Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service London, England (CNS) - British singer Amy Winehouse was taken to the hospital after fainting in her London home. Although she quickly recovered, her father accompanied her to the hospital as a precaution. According to the BBC, the 24-year-old singer was signing autographs for Canadian fans who had been waiting outsider her home all day. Her manager's assistant was able to stop Winehouse from falling. Doctors aren't sure what caused the incident, and may keep Winehouse overnight for observation. She is being treated at the London Clinic in Marylebone. Winehouse has been rocked with health issues, including being admitted to a London hospital last year suffering from "severe exhaustion." She also suffers from drug use.
