"Weeds" Among Shows That Premieres Monday

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Monday marks a night full of season premieres including the return of "Weeds" on Showtime. Also premiering on the same network is the show "Secret Diary of a Call Girl."

On "Weeds," Nancy is back for a fourth season and is on the run. The show airs at 10/9c.

"Secret Diary of a Call Girl" features "Doctor Who's" Billie Piper playing a high-priced prostitute in this provocative British comedy/drama. In the season opener, she deals with a gallery of eccentric clients, including a farmer. The show airs at 10:30/9:30c on Showtime.

Also premiering Monday night for its fifth season is "Intervention." The show takes a personal look at addiction, from drugs to gambling. Monday's episode revolves around a professional cyclist who developed a crack habit after being kicked off his team.

"Intervention" airs at 9/8c on A & E.
