Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Actress Jorja Fox left "CSI" last fall, but the show's producers promised her fans she would be back. The word from the show is that she will return to the crime drama for its third episode next season.

Fox, who played Sara Sidle, said the door was left open for her character to return when she left.

Since departing the show, Fox has stayed busy. She produced a play in L.A. called "Stay Forever," a bio piece about Dusty Springfield. She is hoping to present it in New York in the fall.

In the meantime, the actress is looking forward to returning to "CSI." She said her heart belongs to the show, as does her loyalty.
