June 21, 2008 11:54 p.m. EST Buddy Shacklette - AHN Motor Sports Reporter West Allis, WI (AHN) - Maybe it's the genius of Jack Roush. Earlier in the week the car owner switched up the crew chiefs of his NASCAR Nationwide teams and the switch enabled Carl Edwards to pull out his first Nationwide win of the season Saturday night in the Milwaukee 250 at The Milwaukee Mile. Edwards celebrated with a Polish victory lap after taking the checkered flag, but did not take his regular celebratory back flip out of respect to some peers who endured adverse situations earlier in the day. Edwards bumped friend Clint Bowyer to go ahead for the win. "I didn't want to pass Clint that way. I got under him and hit him and I didn't want to do that,'' said Edwards, who snapped his 37-race winless streak in the series. "It's good to be back. The guys never gave up. I know it's tough times right now and man it's good to win a race.'' Joe Gibbs Racing newcomer Joey Logano, fresh off of last week's win at Kentucky, took a runner-up finish and was followed by Bowyer, David Reutimann and David Ragan. "We were good there at the long haul,'' said Logano. "It's nice to take home a second place after a win. I guess we're going to have to take it.'' Scott Wimmer, Mike Bliss, Brad Keselowski, Jason Keller and Jason Leffler rounded out the top-10. Bowyer maintained his points lead but expressed his displeasure with Edwards' pass after the race.
