June 23, 2008 7:17 a.m. EST Jennifer Tormo - Celebrity News Service Entertainment Intern Hollywood, FL (CNS) - Model and actress Carmen Electra was among the celebs present at the debut of the first legal games of Blackjack and other table games at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Sunday. Carmen Electra ("Baywatch," "Meet the Spartans") and her fiancé, Rob Patterson of Korn, hosted the first official Blackjack deal at the casino, which is located in Hollywood, Fla. The games kicked off around 6 p.m., after Patterson smashed a guitar onstage and eruptions of confetti filled the room. Afterwards, celebs such as "The Sopranos" cast-members Lorraine Bracco and Frank Vincent could be seen playing the table games. Games unveiled included Blackjack, Baccarat, Mini-Baccarat, Pai Gow Power, Let it Ride and Three Card Poker. The accessibility of such games is significant for residents and tourists in Florida. Seminole Gaming CEO James Allen says of the event, "With the introduction of Blackjack and the other card games, Las Vegas-style casinos will now be at the doorstep of the residents of Florida. Floridians won't have to go to Las Vegas or Atlantic City to play their favorite casino games." The casino was redesigned to add 71 new tables, 55 of which are for Blackjack. More than 700 Blackjack dealers and supervisors were hired for the launch. Members of the Seminole Tribal Council were also present for the first official games. The tribe is believed to be the first Native American Indian Tribe to acquire a major international corporation. The new card games are expected to attract hundreds of thousands of new players to the casino. Allen also told Celebrity News Service he was pleased with how the launch of the games turned out. "We're very happy," he said. He added that he thinks it will "take business to the next level."
