Malibu, CA (CNS) - Matthew McConaughey has become the center of a beach scuffle after beach surfers attacked a group of photographers who followed the actor on Sunday.

About twelve paparazzi were taking the "Fool's Gold" star's pictures while surfing on a Malibu beach when irate surfers attacked the snappers, leaving one with a broken nose, as shown in a video posted by TMZ.com.

The group of surfers allegedly threw out another snapper into a pile of rocks, causing his camera to get damaged.

According to the gossip site, police have been called to the scene though no arrest had been made. McConaughey was not involved in the incident.
