Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Kid Rock is urging everyone to "Steal everything!" The rocker/rapper has filmed a Public Service Announcement about music illegal download, saying "it's okay to steal."

In the film, Kid Rock says that he couldn't really complain about someone illegally downloading his songs because he is already rich. But to "level the playing field," he encourages everyone to steal everything else, not just music.

He gives examples from other rich people like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, saying they won't notice if you steal a couple of laptops or iPods because they are billionaires. Other rich people he mentioned include Tommy Hilfiger, Toyota, and oil companies.

At the end of the clip, Kid Rock does a little real public service announcement saying, "Remember, stay in school and stay off the drugs."

The PSA comes after his interview with BBC about illegal downloading music. He told the station that he doesn't mind if kids download his music illegally as long as they buy tickets to his concerts.
