Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Nicole Richie will guest star on the show "Chuck" this fall, and now NFL player Michael Strahan is following in Richie's footsteps. Strahan just completed filming a cameo for the NBC comedy.

On the show, Strahan plays Mitt, the manager of a sporting goods store that is in the same shopping center as Buy More, the store where Chuck works. Mitt and his crew take over the home theater portion of the store during lunchtimes, playing the game "Madden '09" and leaving the store a mess.

Strahan has also joined Fox's NFL pregame show. The newly retired Giants defensive end seems destined for television. During his fifteen year NFL career, he spent a lot of time in front of the camera doing commentary and studio gigs.
