Bears Reach Deal With Draft Pick Harrison, Agree To Terms With Bennett, Bowman

Topics: NFLLake Forest, IL (AHN) - The Chicago Bears resumed their major coup of signing their draftees this season by reaching terms with defensive tackle Marcus Harrison, wide receiver Earl Bennett and cornerback Zack Bowman on Tuesday.

Harrison inked a four-year contract while Bennett and Bowman agreed upon new contracts from the Bears, who have two remaining selections yet to be signed.
The Arkansas-product Harrison had 186 total tackles with the Razorbacks and was taken in the third round this year.
Bennett, off a three-season stint at Vanderbilt, was a third-round draftee while Bowman was a fifth-rounder from Nebraska.
The three players now join the others who have been signed or agreed to terms with the Bears, namely: Craig Steltz, Kellen Davis, Ervin Baldwin, Chester Adams, Joey LaRocque, Kirk Barton and Marcus Bonk.
Left unsigned so far are first-round pick Chris Williams and second-round pick Matt Forte.
