New York, NY (AHN) - Rush Limbaugh signed a new contract with Premiere Radio Networks, keeping him on air until 2016.
The deal comes as Limbaugh nears his 20th anniversary as one of radio's most dominant talk show hosts. His three-hour show is broadcast on roughly 600 radio stations across the nation.
Premiere did not disclose details of the contract, but Limbaugh told the New York Times he would make roughly $38 million a year.
"This is exactly where I want to be, doing what I was born to do, with an amazing audience and phenomenal support from affiliate stations and sponsors," Limbaugh said in a statement, according to the Associated Press. "I'm having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have."
Premiere Radio Networks is owned by Clear Channel Radio.
