Chicago, IL (AHN) - Chris Duhon agreed to a two-year deal with the New York Knicks on Friday, ending a four-year stay with the Chicago Bulls.

Duhon, a 2004 second-round choice by Chicago, will sign a two-year deal starting at the full mid-level exception to be announced on July 9, the end of the free-agent moratorium.

The 25-year-old guard, who also considered joining the Orlando Magic, instead chose the Knicks where he is expected to start, particularly with the probable departure of problematic guard Stephon Marbury.

In March, the former Duke player was meted two fines and two benchings after making an unscheduled trip to North Carolina to watch a Duke-UNC game.

Duhon re-entered the rotation and finished with a flourish by scoring 22 points with 15 assists in the Bulls' season finale.

Duhon registered a total of 300 games with 159 starts and averaged 6.9 points and 4.5 assists in the four seasons with the Bulls.
