Citi Appoints New Global Transaction Services Head In Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (AHN) - Citibank, N.A. Bangladesh recently appointed Parvez Murshed to head its Global Transaction Services business in Bangladesh.

As Head of Global Transaction Services, Parvez will be responsible for managing the banks' transaction services business for corporate and institutional clients, a Citibank press statement says in the capital, Dhaka on Sunday.

Parvez, a seasoned Citi resource, joined Citi in July 1999. He began as a management associate and has served the bank in multiple roles including cash and trade operations, cash products and Global Transaction Services sales.

Before assuming the role of Global Transaction Services head, he was the head of Treasury and Trade Services. Parvez holds a Masters in Finance from the University of Central Oklahoma, in the United States.
