Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Kristen Bell will return to the hit show "Heroes" to continue electrocuting people. This is a fact that pleases Bell.

The actress will reprise her role as Elle Bishop, the hero with the power to generate and manipulate electricity. Her character came on the show during Season 2.

Bell has signed on for a multi-episode arc and will first appear in the Season 3 premiere of "Heroes" which debuts September 22.

In April, the actress told EW.com, ''I love that the next season is supposed to be subtitled 'Villains,''' she said. ''I am thrilled by the idea that my good friend Zach Quinto [Sylar] and I could possibly have scenes together.''

Bell, the former star of "Veronica Mars," recently starred in the feature "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." She also just wrapped the Disney film "When In Rome," which will be released next year.
