Webroot Software Founder Found Dead In Oahu, Hawaii

Honolulu, HI (AHN) - Steven Thomas, founder of security software maker Webroot Software Inc., was found dead in Hawaii, some two weeks after he reportedly went missing.

The body of Thomas was discovered near the base of a 985-foot Oahu cliff. According to reports, Thomas suffered from bipolar disorder and delusions that he was being tracked by aliens and the government. The 36-year-old millionaire was last seen on the evening of June 30 at a Honolulu hotel where he was temporarily staying in with his relatives.

He said to have disappeared after he and his wife planned to go back to their summer home in Boulder, Colo. From Hawaii.

Thomas became a millionaire after selling Webroot Software Inc. for $50 million.
