July 20, 2008 8:42 a.m. EST Jupiter Kalambakal - AHN News Writer Moscow, Russia (AHN) - Russian gas monopoly Gazprom will acquire a 25 percent stake in Daltransgaz, one of the owners of a natural gas bypass in Russia's Far East. Gazprom will buy the stakes being held by Rosneft, a government-owned crude producer. The purchase of stakes will give Gazprom some access to the Daltransgaz pipeline from Sakhalin to the port of Vladivostok through Khabarovsk. Other owners of the gas line are the Russian Federal Property Management Agency, which owns 27.39 percent stake, and the Khabarovsk Territory controlling the remaining 47.59 percent.
