Saskatchewan To Recruit 700 Skilled Workers From Ukraine, Philippines And Vietnam

Saskatchewan, Canada (AHN) - The Federeal Government of Canada has launched a recruitment program to recruit and train skilled craft workers and technicians for the province of Saskatchewan.

News Talk 650 reported that the Canadian government will invest $3 million in Saskatchewan, the prairie province in Canada.

It said that the program will prepare individuals for high-paying careers in the mechanical trades such as welding, heavy duty equipment, and agricultural machinery. The program will also provide workers with the expertise needed upon arrival in the country.

The pilot project will target 700 prospective immigrants over the next four years from Ukraine, the Philippines and Vietnam.
