July 23, 2008 3:22 p.m. EST Amy Beeman - AHN Houston, TX (AHN) -- The skinny prisoner who escaped his jail cell through an air-conditioning vent last weekend has been caught. The Houston Chronicle reported that Darryl Layne Norris, 26, was arrested Tuesday night after police tracked him to a Houston hotel. He was found swimming in the pool. Norris faces murder charges in connection with an April shooting at a convenient store. Six-foot tall and normally said to weigh 160 pounds, Norris began losing weight when he was initially jailed. He was able to crawl through a vent less than a foot wide.
