July 23, 2008 8:09 p.m. EST Jennifer Tormo - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Perez Hilton, a magnet for lawsuits himself, has started one of his own. The celebrity blogger Mario Lavandeira, who writes under the name Perez Hilton, sued those in charge of the Web site Perezrevenge.com in a Los Angeles federal court on Monday. The defendants and accused owner, publisher and editor of the Web site are Infuse LLC, Margie E. Rogers and Elizabeth Silver-Fagan. The lawsuit accuses them of cyber-squatting and deceptive trade practices. Perezrevenge.com claims to distinguish itself from other Web sites by posting articles based on fact. "What makes us different than most of the other celebrity gossip sites is that our postings are not based on opinion or speculation," reads the Web site's 'About Us' section. The Web site, which frequently makes fun of blogger Perez Hilton himself, really couldn't be confused with the blogger's own site. A recent post on the site reads, "Mario Lavandeira a/k/a PerezHilton has once again twisted the facts (pictures below) so that he can spew his garbage, churn the rumor mill because he never??? tries to confirm a thing he writes." Elizabeth Silver-Fagan even recently told the Los Angeles Times that she "can't imagine" anyone would think Perez Hilton endorsed her Web site. Referencing a "certain individual who shall remain nameless," Perezrevenge.com advises, "Don't dish it, if you can't take it my friend."
