July 24, 2008 5:03 p.m. EST Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - An AOL television survey has landed "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell as the favorite reality TV villain in America. Cowell's co-host, Paula Abdul, was declared the worst reality TV judge in the poll, which was released on Thursday. The survey drew more than 1.3 million votes, and "American Idol" itself was judged the best reality show on U.S. television, ranked No. 1 by 33 percent of viewers who took part in the poll. The Fox singing competition also took top place for the "hottest hook-up," between 2008 "Idol" winner David Cook and former contestant Kimberly Caldwell. Although Abdul is considered the kindest of the three judges on the "American Idol" show, she was still chosen worst reality judge. On the poll, "The Amazing Race" was the reality show most people wanted to take part in. The AOL poll, conducted on July 9-23, was on the best and worst of reality television in America. It logged in 1,340,208 votes.
