Jenny McCarthy Joins With World Wrestling Entertainment To Body Slam Autism

New York, NY (CNS) - Jenny McCarthy is joining with World Wrestling Entertainment in the hopes of body slamming Autism.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will take over "Saturday Night's Main Event" and return to NBC for a special presentation on August 2 during which the show will raise awareness for children with Autism.

"Saturday Night's Main Event" on NBC will feature thrilling WWE competition, but this show will have special meaning. McCarthy along with other celebrities will tag team with WWE Superstars to raise awareness for children with Autism. Jenny McCarthy, who is a board member of Generation Rescue and has been called a "mother warrior" by Oprah, hopes to body slam Autism by educating parents and kids.

According to NBC, WWE is happy to lend its ring on "Saturday Night's Main Event" to Jenny for the cause, also including star-studded video messages from Carmen Electra, Piers Morgan, James Roday, Toby Keith, Jewel, Billy Ray Cyrus, the cast of "Nashville Star" and more.
