Dearborn, MI (AHN) - Ford Motor Co. announced its new car models from next year until 2013. The American car maker said that it will focus more on small fuel efficient cars and predicts a downtrend in trucks and sports utility vehicles sales in the next four years.

Ford forecasts truck and SUV sales will slump from 32 percent to 26 percent in 2013. The company is reliant on its F-Series pickup and Explorer SUV sales, which is 52 percent of Ford's business.

Ford plans to convert three truck plants to car factories as it predicts that 62 percent of sales will come from cars in the next few years.

The company plans to bring to the U.S. hybrid car models it has been manufacturing and marketing in Europe such as the Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan.
