July 30, 2008 8:13 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Snoop Dogg is making an attempt to enter Bollywood. The rapper is recording the title song for a new Indian movie. The "Father Hood" star dresses in traditional grand sardar style in the song's accompanying music video. The film, entitled "Singh is Kinng," will star Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. Producer Vipul A. Shah says of the collaboration in a statement, "Snoop wants to do a Hindi movie with Akshay, as he is really keen on wooing the Indian audiences." "The most interesting aspect of the song is that one gets to see two very different styles - hip-hop with Snoop and Bhangra with Akshay. Their chemistry was worth seeing as they're superstars from two different worlds. To say the least, the video is looking brilliant!" Dogg also recently ventured out of the hip-hop community with his attempt at the country music industry. He released the country song "My Medicine" in June.
