Jupiter Kalambakal - AHN News Writer Paris, France (AHN) - Air France is mulling over buying Canadian aircraft maker Bombardier's new CSeries jets for the carrier's medium-range and regional routes. Domain B reported that the airline is actively considering the commercial jet aircraft along with mid-sized planes from Boeing and Airbus. Another Air France subsidiary, Brit Air, reportedly ordered eight of Bombardier's new 100-seat CRJ1000s hint. It added that the airline is also planning to upgrade its A320 family aircraft which was launched in the late 80s. Jean-Cyril Spinetta, Air France CEO, reportedly vocalized the need for Airbus and Boeing to hurry up the renewal programs of the company's A320 and B737 family of aircraft. Plans to reduce operating costs for the medium-haul sector prompted the decision to upgrade.
