Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - Manny Ramirez is fitting in nicely with the Los Angeles Dodgers, to put it mildly.

Ramirez continued his hot hitting by going 4-5, including a homer, to lead the Dodgers over the Diamondbacks 9-3.

L.A. earned the split and Manny finished the series with eight hits in his first 13 LA Dodger at-bats, a .615 average.

Ramirez had five RBI in those at-bats, including two homers and a 1.154 slugging percentage.

Matt Kemp also had a big game for LA with three hits, including a solo home run in the eighth inning off Jon Rauch.

Joe Torre pulled Dodgers' starter Jason Johnson after 4 1/3 innings, where he yielded three runs on five hits. Cory Wade got the win for LA after pitching 1.2 scoreless innings as LA took over for good.

Doug Davis gave up five runs in just 1.2 innings for Arizona, who return from their recent road trip after going an impressive 7-3.

They maintain a one game lead over the Dodgers, whose recent moves could improve their chances of winning baseball's weakest division.
