Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Mary-Kate Olsen will remain mum on Heath Ledger's drug issue until she gets immunity. Reports say that she wants to be spared from prosecution before she cooperates with the investigation.

Olsen's name sprung up during the death of "The Dark Knight" star in January when investigators learned that the masseuse who found him unconscious in his New York apartment had called the actress first before calling 911.

The autopsy revealed that Ledger died from overdose of prescription pain, anxiety, and sleep medications. Upon further probing, officers learned that every drug in his system had a prescription, except for Oxycodone and Vicodin, two powerful painkillers. They had conducted interviews with all of Ledger's friends and family. However, Olsen was reportedly left unquestioned.

Sources reveal that the 22-year-old entertainment mogul could be subpoenaed by the late actor's death investigators if she isn't willing to cooperate. She is said to be asking immunity from prosecution before she disclose what she knows.

However, Michael C. Miller, attorney for Olsen, has released a statement on Monday, denying his client's knowledge of the drugs and refusal to cooperate.

He said, "Regarding the government's investigation, at Ms. Olsen's request, we have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed."

"We don't know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the government's inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate."
