Miami Dolphin's Dan Marino Will Not Appear On "Dancing With The Stars"

Miami, FL (CNS) - Sorry Miami Dolphins fans, but your main man Dan Marino will not be the next twinkle toed dancer on "Dancing With The Stars."

The former quarterback's rep announced that although the show has asked Marino every single year since it began to be a contestant on the show - every year Marino has turned them down.

Marino may be known for having a fast arm, but maybe he isn't willing to find out if he has fast dancing feet, which is probably just as well.

Marino is a class-act in South Florida, owning restaurants and taking part in many charitable activities - so his time is not wasted. If he appeared on "Dancing With The Stars," however, as football players such as Jerry Rice and Jason Taylor have done, he may end up only embarrassing himself.

Marino, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame with a standing-room only crowd, probably wants to keep his fans loving him just as he is.
