Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Brad Pitt is officially joining Quentin Tarantino's new film. After a lengthy negotiation, the actor has signed on with the iconic filmmaker to star in "Inglorious Bastards." Pitt will play as Lt. Aldo Raine, a Tennessee hillbilly who leads a team of eight Jewish-American soldiers to battle the Nazis in the Weinstein Company and Universal Pictures WWII war film. He joins Eli Roth in the yet incomplete cast lineup. Also, German-born actress Nastassja Kinski is in early talks to star as one of the few females in the film. She would play a German movie queen if the negotiation pushes through. The production starts filming on October 13 in Germany.
