Dallas, Texas (CNS) - J.R., Bobby, Sue Ellen and other members of the Ewing clan are headed back to Dallas. It isn't a reunion show, but rather a real reunion that will take place at the Southfork Ranch north of Dallas.

According to The Associated Press, several cast members of the popular prime-time soap opera, that ran from 1978-91, will return to Southfork Ranch on November 8 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show. Those confirming they will attend include Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy.

Hagman, now 76, played scheming oil baron and cattle rancher J.R. Ewing. "I may not be able to do the 40th," said Hagman, in an interview with The Dallas Morning News. "Thirty years is pretty good, and the show is still very popular."

The reunion at the ranch north of Dallas is open to the public. Tickets go on sale August 22 and will cost between $100 and $1,000. The event will include fireworks, a country music concert, a question-and-answer session with the cast and tours of the mansion.

The show is probably best known for the "who shot J.R.?" cliffhanger that concluded the 1979-1980 season in which Hagman's character was shot.
