August 16, 2008 8:30 p.m. EST Matt Aug - AHN Sports Editor Paris, France (AHN) - Guillame Horau scored the only goal of the match off an assist by Sylvain Armand, lifting Paris St. Germain to a 1-0 win over Bordeaux Saturday. It was a terrific defensive effort for the victors, particularly Ludovic Giuly, who also plays for AS Roma. Giuly, a midfielder, was stellar and received a nice ovation from an appreciative crowd. PSG chairman Charles Villeneuve had to be heartened by the outcome as his club continues to improve. Girdondins keeper Ulrich Rame allowed just the lone goal, but Bordeaux's offense proved to be ineffective in the contest.
