August 18, 2008 6:56 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Pinellas County, FL (CNS) - Hulk Hogan's estranged wife has failed to slam the former wrestler in jail after a Florida judge ruled that he cannot be held in contempt of court for failing to pay her condo. Last month, Linda Bollea had requested for Hulk to be held in contempt of court and jailed for failing to pay his share of the $4.2 million Las Vegas condo they agreed to buy in 2005. Hulk's camp argued that the Vegas "pleasure palace" for Linda is excessive in times when they should be considering other matters like their son Nick's imprisonment. On Thursday, Judge George Green ruled that the ring champion, real name Terry Bollea, is no longer bound to the sale he promised when the couple are in good terms. His attorney David Houston tells E! News, "We are thrilled that the judge did not require us to continue to engage in the folly of purchasing a $4.2 million condo at a time when we should be considering other matters." Houston adds that a stipulation was made outside the court that allows Hulk to reside in a beach house that had been Linda's formerly sole reserve. Also, a deal was made that substantially reduces his required monthly payments to his wife.
