August 18, 2008 1:57 p.m. EST Henry Frederick - AHN St. Louis, MO (AHN) - St. Louis Rams offensive guard Mark Setterstrom will have surgery later this week after fracturing his left kneecap in Saturday's preseason game. Setterstrom will probably miss the remainder of the season. A seventh-round pick in 2006, with nine career starts, Setterstrom injured the knee in the second half against the San Diego Chargers. He tore a ligament and sustained cartilage damage in the same knee during the third game last year and spent the rest of the season on IR. Setterstrom was elevated to a starting position earlier in summer camp, but Saturday was a reserve because he missed practice time with a strained muscle near his right knee.
