August 19, 2008 10:10 a.m. EST Sophia Ramirez - AHN Hollywood, FL (CNS) - Gilberto Santa Rosa performed at the Hard Rock Casino Live on Sunday in what many considered a lack luster performance. Santa Rosa walked onto the stage and started singing without even greeting the audience. Santa Rosa was introduced by a member of the "La Calle 98.3" crew. The crowd roared as they waited in anticipation for the show to begin. The crowd of faithful listeners and supporters of Santa Rosa's music rose immediately upon seeing the world famous tropical singer enter the room. By the time the second song began to play, heaps of couples were out of their seats and on the dancefloor doing their best Salsa moves. The audience seemed to be moved by the music but doubt is cast on whether or not the performance rose to the caliber of "Wonderful". Santa Rosa had minimal to no interaction with the crowd. He did not use the stage to his advantage, nor did he use the power of the music or the spirit of the crowd to take the performance to the next level of excitement and fun. Nonetheless, the spirit of the crowd was not a reaction to the performance, which was less than powerful. The crowd may have had the same reaction if the same set of songs came on at a night club. In reality Santa Rosa's music is quite powerful, very fun and always motivates you to get up and dance. While, it is evident that the crowd wanted to dance to the tunes, it was also evident that after a while very few were actually looking at the stage. Some attributed his calm performance to the fact that Santa Rosa may be tired as he had recently started a world tour. Set List "Vea Que Querrer" "Amor Mio" "Vivir Sin Ella" "Perdoname" "No te Pido" "De Corazon" "Mentira" "No lo Amas" "Caballo Viejo" "Si No Hay Amor No Hay Nada" "Bamos Nos Dos" "Que Algien Me Diga"
