Windsor Genova - AHN News Writer Algiers, Algeria (AHN) - A suicide bomber drove a car packed with explosives to a police school in Issers Tuesday, killing 43 people and wounding 38. The attack was the deadliest this year and dealier than last year's bombing of government and United Nations buildings in Algiers that killed 41 people. It created a huge crater and damaged nearby houses and buildings. Many university graduates applying for jobs as police officers were waiting outside the police school for their examination when the bombing occurred. Some applicants were accompanied by family members, who were also killed or injured by the blast. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack in Issers, 40 miles east of the capital.
