John Vincent Cardenas - AHN Staff Writer Algiers, Algeria (AHN) - Eleven people were killed and 31 injured on Tuesday as car bombs exploded in Bouira, 56 miles (93 kilometers) southeast of Algiers. The first explosion occurred at a military school. A minute later a car bomb exploded in front of a nearby hotel. Algerian authorities labeled the explosions as "terrorist attacks." The car bomb explosions occurred a day after 43 people died in a similar bombing at a military academy in Boumerdes, 36 miles (60 kilometers) from Algiers.
