Kris Alingod - AHN News Writer Washington, D.C. (AHN) - Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH) was brought to a Cleveland, Ohio, hospital Tuesday night after she was found unconscious in her car. Police found Tubbs Jones, 58, after her car veered off a road in Cleveland Heights. She is now in the Huron Hospital. No other information have been disclosed at the request of Tubbs Jones' family, but WTAM quotes a relative as saying the veteran lawmaker is unconscious. Tubbs Jones, Ohio's first black woman representative was scheduled to attend next week's Democratic National Convention in Denver as a superdelegate. She supported Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) during the primary race but endorsed Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) in June.
