August 22, 2008 12:20 a.m. EST Windsor Genova - AHN News Writer Tyler, TX (AHN) - A man convicted of training children to perform sex acts for a swingers club, recording the shows and drugging his victims received a life sentence from a Texas jury Thursday. Patrick Kelly, 41, an auto body shop worker from Tyler, was also ordered to pay restitution and a $10,000 fine. Kelly, who showed no emotion from the sentence, had pleaded innocent of charges that he trained children as young as five to dance lewdly at a former day care center, gave them Vicodin-like drugs to perform before the so-called Mineola Swinger's Club and videotaping the kids while they stripped. Kelly was the third person in the case sentenced to life imprisonment. Two members of the child sex ring, Jamie Pittman and Shauntel Mayo, were meted the same punishment. Three other suspects are awaiting trial.
