Jupiter Kalambakal - AHN News Writer Richmond, VA (AHN) - United Parcel Service, Inc. has added routes to improve shipping time in the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Transit times were reduced on more than 10,000 routes in the last 18 months, the company said in a statement. The freight forwarders UPS Freight unit launched two-day shipping lanes between Chicago-Dallas, Boston-St. Louis and Philadelphia-Miami. The delivery company also boosted next-day delivery between Cincinnati, Memphis, Tennessee, and Columbus, Ohio, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Improved service resulted into reduced transit times for shippers in Cleveland, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, New York City and Newark, New Jersey.
